Geesh, where do I start! What a month it has been. Busy, busy, busy! Nich started school on the 6th, I started my FT job on the 12th, and the rest I don't really remember. LOL. It's been CRAZY around here. I am still trying to adjust to our new schedule. I was unemployed for 7 months, so obviously, it takes a little time to get used to waking up at 5:30 and not getting home until almost 6 pm. But, the good news is, I love my job! I'm still counting my blessings that I found such a wonderful job. I am working as an Enrollment Specialist for Coventry Health Care. Wednesday is my last day of training....WOOHOO! I have my own cubby with my own phone line and everything! The best part is, I can sit at my desk with my music in my ears all day long! I'm open to any music suggestions!!!!

I just realized that I never posted my other layouts that I did for my GDT spot over at Scraptastic Kit Club. The kit I had to work with was AMAZING!! Just packed full of stuff!


I just loved being the Guest Designer for Jessica this month! The kit was PERFECT for all the back to school pics I took of Nicholas!!!

I have just one more layout to share. This one I did for the sketch challenge over at the My Creative Sketches blog. They always have the most awesome prizes to win!

I was trying to come up with a title for this one that had to do with Nicholas growing up so fast. I thought the Rascal Flatt's song "My Wish" was perfect. I made the banner with some tags that I picked up at Hobby Lobby.

Welp, I'm going back to the scrap table! It's been 2 weeks since I scrapped at all! I was going through withdrawal!!!!

Happy September! Hard to believe that Summer is just about over. WOW...it flew by! Nicholas starts school in 5 days and I start my job in 11 days! I cannot wait! I have never been so excited to go back to work in my life. Yesterday we got to tour the brand new school that Nicholas will be going to. It is an Intermediate school for grades 4-6. The place is beautiful! There are Smart Boards in every classroom! Everything is just brand spanking new!

I am Guest Designer this month over at Scraptastic Kit Club! I chose the "Too Cool For School" Kit and add on to use. I love how Jessica has a choice of two kits for you to pick from. I figured with all the back to school stuff, this would be the perfect one for me.



This kit is absolutely packed TO THE GILLS with tons of stuff! Love all the embellies that she throws in the kit! Everything just goes together so perfectly! Here is the first layout that I've created with it:

This is a pic of the school that Nich will be going to for the next 3 years. Mostly everything on here is from the kit except for some of the letters (I used my Cricut and some Thickers), the glimmer mist, ink, and mesh. A lot of people ask where I find the mesh....I get it at J's or ACMoore or M's in with the cross stitch things. It adds the perfect touch to just about any layout or card.
